Areas of Focus
My areas of focus include trauma and its lasting impact, relational conflicts and attachment concerns, wounds from family-of-origin experiences, emotional disregulation, substance use challenges, and struggles related to self-esteem, identity, and self-worth. I am committed to helping you understand how these experiences have shaped you while supporting you in discovering, embracing, and being your most authentic self. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients, including young adults, adults, older adults, and couples.
Therapeutic Methods
My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful and lasting growth. I believe healing is most transformative when it addresses the whole person and fosters deeper connection with oneself and others.
About Me
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective approach that supports clients in building emotional resilience and healing from the lasting effects of trauma. Outside of the counseling room, I find joy in life’s simple moments. I enjoy spending time in nature, getting lost in a good book, exploring new experiences, and staying active through hiking, swimming, walking, running, tennis, and pickleball whenever I can. Above all, I value meaningful relationships and cherish quality time with my friends and family.
