Hi, I’m Sarah. I believe we are all deeply relational beings, and we all deserve a space where we feel seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to provide a calming, safe, and supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story—wherever you are in your journey.

Our stories shape who we are. Whether you're walking through a difficult season, healing from past experiences, or simply trying to better understand yourself, your story matters. In exploring our experiences with compassion and curiosity, we can begin to foster healing, self-awareness, and hope for the future.

Areas of Focus

I offer therapy to children, adolescents, teens, and individual adults. My specialized training in child and adolescent counseling has grown into a passion for supporting young people as they navigate the many challenges that come with growing up. I believe childhood lays the foundation for the rest of our lives, and I’m honored to walk with kids and teens through this formative time.

In my work with adults, I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, trauma and complex trauma, relational challenges, family-of-origin issues, and grief and loss. I also enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals and helping them better understand their minds in a world that isn’t always built to support them.

At the heart of my work is a desire to meet each client with deep compassion and personalized care—no matter their age or life stage.

Therapeutic Methods

I provide client-centered care rooted in authenticity, acceptance, and empathy. Every client brings a unique story, and I believe it’s essential to meet each person where they are.

With children, adolescents, and teens, I use a blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to their developmental needs. This may include play therapy techniques, sand tray therapy, expressive arts, and traditional talk therapy.

When working with adults, I often draw from a psychoanalytic perspective, helping clients explore how past experiences and patterns may be influencing their present. My goal is to offer an emotionally safe space where healing and growth can naturally unfold.

About Me

I was born in Oklahoma and moved several times as a child before eventually landing in Georgia. These experiences shaped my appreciation for each person’s unique journey and deepened my desire to walk alongside others in theirs.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Georgia. After working as a teacher’s assistant in the school system, I felt a strong pull toward counseling and went on to complete my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta. I also earned a certificate in Child and Adolescent Counseling and am currently an Associate Professional Counselor, working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist.

Outside of work, you can often find me traveling with my husband, spending quality time with family, exploring new coffee shops, or enjoying the outdoors with our senior dog, Pete.

Whether through play therapy or talk therapy, I believe everyone deserves a space to heal, grow, and become who they are meant to be. I would be honored to walk with you on your journey.
