Hi there! I’m a dedicated mental health counselor in training with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for personal growth, connection, and improving well-being. My approach integrates compassion and a holistic perspective, guiding clients toward healing, self-discovery, and resilience. Whether addressing anxiety, trauma, or relationship struggles my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered.

Therapeutic Methods

I draw from several therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. Psychodynamic Theory helps uncover how past experiences shape present patterns. Emotion Focused Therapy supports identifying and transforming challenging emotions. Through Attachment-Focused work, we explore early relationship dynamics to build secure connections today. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) offers practical tools to shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. When desired, I also include Spirituality-Integrated methods to connect growth with personal beliefs and meaning.

About Me

Born in Virginia and raised in North Carolina, I am the oldest of five siblings and was brought up in a Christian household, which instilled in me strong values of faith, empathy, and service. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, arts and crafts, moving my body to remain active, and indulging in a good scary movie! I believe that balance and self-care are essential to well-being, and I encourage my clients to explore their passions and create meaningful experiences in their own lives.
